Financing Options:

Finance Capital Equipment, Solar, Ground Mount Racking, Trackers, Micro-Grids, Off Grid Systems, My Portable Solar, Solar Hot Water and Energy Efficient Technology.

  • All Solar, Equipment and Energy Projects will be reviewed for Financing.

  • Projects need 2-3 Years of audited or prepared Financial Statements or Tax Returns

  • Reviewed by Accountant or Accounting Firm

  • Interim Statement for the Company

  • Include Invoice or Equipment Information

  • Interconnection and Project timeline

  • Signed Credit Application

 

Commercial and Utility Projects

Asset Based Project Financing: Loans, Capital Lease, Operating Lease, PPA’s, Construction Loan and Bridge Financing

 

  • Loan 7-12 Year Loan on Equipment

  • Capital Lease; Same as Loan Except from a Finance Company and only UCC Filing on equipment. 5 to 12 year term

  • Developer or Utility: Construction & Equipment. Combined. Projects size range but we have companies that like Up to $25mm. Some start at $25MM or $50MM and Up.

  • Operating Lease: Equipment lessor receives Depreciation Expense to Structure a  Lease with or with our Residual Value at end of term.

  • Operating Lease Solar: Lessor takes the ITC and Depreciation to reduce the Monthly payment Great for Manufacturing or Commercial Companies that can’t take the Depreciation Expense.

  • Tax Equity Deal on Large Utility Scale Projects

  • Power Purchase Agreement(PPA): The PPA Provider Takes Federal, State and Local Incentives Plus Depreciation Expense to offer a price per KWh to buy power

  • Construction Loan: Assist in Setting up a Construction Loan for the Company building Solar and Energy Projects

  • Work In Process: Need money to complete your order. Work in Process or WIP can get you money to complete the order. Get the other equipment needed to complete order

  • Bridge: 3 or 4 Months until you receive the Equipment. Pay Monthly Interest Only Bridge Can be converted into Accounts Receivable, Construction Financing, Term Loan, EFA, or Capital Lease Program

Commercial Application Only programs up to $350,000  

Good For Companies with Lots of Locations/LLC’s.

 

Manufacturer or Distributor Financing:

  • Inventory Financing: Inventory financing is credit obtained to pay for products that aren't intended for immediate sale. Financing is collateralized by the inventory it is used to purchase. Inventory financing

  • Bridge Loan: short-term loan used until a company secures permanent financing. It allows the borrower to meet current obligations by providing immediate cash flow. Collateral, such as real estate or the inventory of a business.

  • WIP Work in Progress: Pays for Cost of unfinished goods in the manufacturing process including labor, raw materials, and overhead.  These items are either just being fabricated or waiting for further processing

  • Invoice Financing: use unpaid invoices as collateral receive financing based on the value of their accounts receivable

  • Factoring Line: Use the Accounts Receivable

  • PO Financing: Use Purchase Order to Get Equipment to Customer So we can Get Paid. Example: Company with solid credit wants Terms net 30-net or net 90

  • Vendor Programs: Marketing Agreement between Distributor and Manufacturer looking to set up a private Label financing program. Financing Program Under Manufacturer or Distributor Name

  • Bridge/WIP needs to be taken out:

        Bridge/WIP to Term Loan/EFA

        Bridge/WIP to Construction Financing

 

Export Financing: Made In America Financing Program

  • First Solar Series 6- 400 or 420 watt panels, SEMS Racking and SMA Inverter 50 Hertz

  • Loan/EFA Term 5-10 Years

  • Larger Projects 10-15 year terms

  • Current Rate 6.0%-6.5%

  • 15% Down Payment/First Payment

  • Finance Solar Racking, Solar PV, Micro-Grids, Off Grid Systems, and My Portable Solar

Financial Package:

Must have Completed Financial Package with project and equipment information. You want it Financed make sure it’s in the proposal.

  • 3 Years Audited Financial Statements with Interims

  • Credit Application

  • Equipment Information: All equipment and costs of project must be included in submittal.

  • Supplier and Manufacturer Information

Tom White President of TJW Company sends out Quick Term Sheet/Intro letter setting up the program and the financing to make sure the numbers look good. Solar Calculator can be added to package. Term Sheet states we are confident in accuracy of this Term Sheet/ Intro Letter, but I would like to set up a time to go over the Financing Options. Confirm the Structure and Requested Financing Package and Email Solar Company, Manufacturer or Distributor that we are moving forward.
